I'm not sure how other feel about this topic but I find the concept of life long learning easy to accept and quite frankly I am looking forward to it!
Having already completed a degree, I am currently completing a tafe diploma and relish the idea of moving to postgraduate learning next. I guess you could say I am a little addicted to learning! I have committed myself to life long learning not only to assist with my career progression but I feel that if I'm not learning I can never be the best at what I do.
In terms of life long learning in relation to libraries - I feel this will be viatally important as we not only need to keep up with new mediums of information, but we will need to know how to deliver that information in an interesting way to maintain our attraction to an ever evolving user group who are becoming very tech savvy! The best defence is a strong offence!
